Caoine (Lament)

Caoine [pronounced: keen] is a dramatic, lyrical, passionate and impressive
work. Composed for Double Bass 2000 it utilises much of the solo range of
the instrument and combines musicality with technique. Philip Cannon
celebrated his 75th birthday in 2004 and has followed a strongly independent
path throughout a long and successful career as a composer.
