A modern and impressive elegy from on of Spain's important younger composers. It has passionate melodies and moods, within a modern idiom, and is music that speaks from the heart. Composed in 1977 but not published until 2000, this is a work that is sure to enter the repertoire and makes full use of the solo range of the double bass.
