Picture of Sheet music for organ by Edmund Thomas Chipp. Two pieces by the Victorian composer Chipp. The Variations are based on Handel's melody of the same name and provide a fascinating and audience friendly piece for recitals.

These two pieces are by the Victorian composer Edmund Thomas Chipp who was a London organist, later becoming organist of Ely Cathedral prior to which he was organist of St. George's church and the Ulster Hall, both in Belfast. He was also one of the first organists to play all of Mendelssohn's Organ Sonatas in public.. The Variations are based on Handel's melody of the same name and provide a fascinating and audience friendly piece for recitals. The Introduction and Fugue in C owe something to S.S.Wesley's Choral Song and Fugue.
