How to shop

Our aim is to provide an easy and enjoyable means of buying the CDs, sheet music, books or musical accessories which interest you. All the products can be viewed and, where available, sampled without having to make a purchase.

Categories are displayed on the top of the screen. From the category lists you can select a group of products and continue to refine your search to your particular interest. For example, you may begin with Sheet Music and then further select - instrumental - strings - doublebass. At each level, a sample of products will be displayed until you reach the final level when all items within that description will be displayed.

Beneath the category tabs at the top of of every page is a search box where you can enter search words which relate to composers or authors, arrangers and editors, performers, record labels, publishers, and catalogue numbers. For example, entering the name of a composer will produce a list of all CDs, sheet music and books connected with that composer.

Click on any product to display more detailed information about a product and see samples where available.

Click on to put the product you want into your shopping basket. Items already in your shopping basket will remain there while you look around for other products.

After you have put everything you want in the shopping basket you can still continue to browse the website until you are ready to buy. Click on your basket to view the contents and/or to remove or change the quantities of items. The next step is to click on

A page is now displayed where you can fill your name and address, e-mail address and telephone number. It is important that you remember to select the country for despatch as this automatically sets the postal charges for the order. After completing these details, click on . If you have entered information incorrectly or forgotten to fill in any boxes, you will be prompted make corrections.

When your details have been accepted, you can review your order and a page will display showing the exact value of your order, broken down per item and with packaging and postal charges itemised. The total amount is what will be taken from your credit or debit card account. Click on to select your method of payment and fill in your card details. When you are happy that everything about your order is correct, click on the button to

Your credit/debit card company may ask you to supply extra security details, to help protect your card against fraudulent use. Once your card has been authorised – normally 20-30 seconds – a message will display acknowledging successful receipt of your order. We will also send you an email containing a copy of your order details.
