Kerry's wife Patricia died during Lockdown and this new edition and recording are dedicated to her memory. The recording was made at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow in November 2022 by Claire O'Reilly and Scott Mitchell.
The first piece is called Heart of Scotland.
The second piece, A New Twasome, is in three movements, the first Blue Dawn, the second Flame of Destiny, the third A New Twasome, where the two unison songs combine to form the two-part twasome. Here Claire and Scott are themselves performing both parts of the twasome. When the songs are performed together both accompaniments should be used, either each with piano (as here) or perhaps one using a harp or a different keyboard. The piece works well with choir, dividing for the twasome - perhaps too with scope for audience participation.
A sixteen page CD booklet is also provided.
