On this captivating recording you will find a mixture of arrangements of well-loved pieces by some of the great masters, the two lovely Romantic Preludes by the great French harpist composer, Marcel Tournier, who was a contemporary of Debussy and Ravel and fully deserves to be mentioned alongside them.
Two Debussy favourites are included, Fauré's popular Sicilienne, a scinitillating virtuosic performance of Genin's Carnaval de Venise, and a very moving version of Caccini's Ave Maria.
Finally, there are some wonderfully attractive and engaging new works.
