Drawing its singers from among Britain's brightest new vocal talents, EXAUDI has won substantial acclaim for it's innovative and imaginative approach to a wide-ranging repertoire. Directed by James Weeks, their rendition of works by Christopher Fox share common themes of Puritanism, Liberty and dissent. American Choruses is one of the composer's earliest works which explores his relationship to an American tradition that includes Ives, Cage and the poetry of Walt Whitman.
