'COMPLETUS' is a setting of texts taken from or associated with the service of Compline, the last of the eight services comprising the Divine Office. It contains some of its most beautiful prayers.
Setting 1: Qui Habitat (psalm 91 / XC) - used for a form of Compline since the time of Basil the Great (d. 379). The psalm was set twice by Josquin des Prez (d. 1521) with a four-part motet setting and also a large a capella 24 voice canon. It is set here for double SATB choir and performed by Ars Brunensis chamber choir from Brno in the Czech Republic, conducted by Dan Kalousek.
