This is a straightforward Christmas song with easy solos for unaccompanied choir and optional audience participation, eminently suitable for Christmas concerts by youth or adult choirs.
Based on original ideas by a young schoolboy piano pupil, this charming, devoutly felt pop-influenced piece is very straightforward and is arguably sight-readable by most amateur choirs. Originally performed in Perth, Scotland, with a reggae rhythm section, this a cappella version was finalised for a professional Christmas choir in Los Angeles for Christmas 2013, and was successfully performed with audience participation in Pitlochry, Scotland in December, 2014.
