This work was written in 1998 for the Bol'shoi Theatre Orchestra as a double quintet - strings and wind - but after composing the first movement Kapustin was asked to add a piano part. The piano, therefore, does not appear until the second movement, and does so with an opening solo. There are three movements - Allegro, Andantino and Allegro molto - and the full performance material is available from the publishers on rental.
Crescendo Music asks: Hi, What size is the study score printed? And where exactly should the performance material be rented from?
Sarah Rodgers answered:It is a miniature score. Performance parts can be hired from the publisher.
Martha asks: where do I get the individual parts?
Sarah Rodgers answered:They can be hired from the publisher.
