Long out of print, this is a novelty intermezzo in the romantic salon style of the early 20th-century. The music is lyrical and melodic, with few technical problems for either player, and would be ideal for anyone who enjoyed playing The Ragtime Bass Player.

The double bass is in orchestral tuning and an accompaniment with string orchestra is in preparation.

Also playable with flute and bassoon.
