Elegie was written in 1988, and is dedicated to the memory of the composers mother. In a straightforward three-part form, the outer sections are both poignant and intense, while the central section has a more disturbed and agitated expression.
Elegie was recorded by Matthew Trussler (Violin) and Gordon Back (Piano) on a CD now available from this website.
