|Format||score and parts|
|Instruments||violin, violin, viola, cello and double bass|
A brisk, stamping, catchy winter-walloper (but not loud all the time), written for less experienced players; lots of fun to play. Everyone contributes thematically in some way. The double bass part could be left out (with some loss, of course). This won't work as string-quartet music.
