Picture of An inventive and enjoyable solo by Czech bassist-composer Vojta Kuchynka. Musical and technical challenges in equal measure utilising the entire range of the solo double bass.

Kuchynka gave over 600 solo recitals during his career and composed many pieces for his own concerts. This is one of two works for unaccompanied bass and employs many double stops and harmonics.

Edited by Frantisek Posta, this is a well-known and popular work for double bass in the Czech Republic.
