Mountain Airs was written for Catherine Wilmers. It consists of four movements, Alba, Apoteosis, Crepuscolo and Fiesta. The work is reminiscent of time spent in the high Alpujarran mountain ranges of the Spanish Sierra Nevada. Each movement recalls a different time of day - dawn, noon, dusk, night. Duration: 11 minutes.
