Nocturne was written in 1982. I am not a Jazz musician, but I love it and many influences from it are to be found in my music.This piece particularly owes its origin to it.
It is dedicated to my son Dominic, aged 11 at the time it was composed, and already emerging as a very gifted guitarist.
