Each of the twenty-five pieces is presented in my Non-Prescriptive Low-order format which means that there are no instructions regarding interpretation.
The performer is free to decide upon the parameters of tempo, dynamics, phrasing, pedaling and the general articulation of the notes and, by doing so, determines the outcome of each performance.
To that end, the utilization of barlines is solely for convenience, to facilitate the reading of rhythm in manageable lengths. They have no function as metric accentuation
Also, while accidentals apply through the bar in the usual away, as a result of the highly chromatic nature of the music, in some places may be repeated for clarity and ease of reading.
