About The Music
The music of this book is greatly varied in terms of difficulty. The easiest music can be sung by anyone while the more difficult pieces require a Grade 8 - Diploma ability.
The music moves from the very simple, intimate music of Psalm 119 (a chant), Our Father in Heaven, and All People That on Earth Do Dwell, to the complexities of Kyrie, Once in Royal David's City and I Will Lift Up My Eyes.
This collection of solos has something for everyone.
There are beautiful melodies with unexpected and interesting accompaniments which serve to bring out the beauty of the singers voice.
Some of this music is appropriate for church services (such as Psalm 119) while other selections are more suited for special musical or seasonal events and recitals/concerts.
