This Suite for violin and viola was originally written as the themes for a score for a production of The Trial by Kafka at the Riverside Studios in London.The score for the play was for Alto Sax and Violin, but in recasting the material as a concert piece I made it for Violin and Viola.
It is a set of six varied and interesting duos, including a 'blues' movement.
