Voluntaries for Manuals only by an important English 18th. century composer. Delightful pieces suitable for church or recital use. As is typical of so much 18th. century English organ music the Voluntaries usually start with a slow introductory movement for Diapasons which is then followed by a fast movement for Trumpet or Cornet or Full Organ. Often the sets of Voluntaries end with a Fugue for Full Organ.
