The autumn duets continue the sequence which began in spring. These three pieces are for descant and treble. The first uses a bossa-nova rhythm; the second is a march based on dotted rhythms; the third is a slow saraband making prominent use of open fifths.There are passages to test finger technique and precision of ensemble but nothing particularly hard.
