Picture of Sheet music by Challinger. Three duets for the combination of tenor and bass recorders. They are more difficult than the Spring Pieces for two trebles but should not tax experienced players too much.

These pieces should provide practice material for tenor and bass playing as well as testing ensemble skills. They are quite short. The first uses rapid tonguing, both together and individually; the legato second movement is an arioso reminiscent of J.S. Bach; in the third the two instruments chase after each other at a fast tempo. They should be enjoyable to work on for keen players.
