'Karoo Landscape' is a duet for flute and percussion. It paints a musical picture of a semi-desert region of South Africa, where the composer has lived since 2007.
The Theme and Variations is for wind quintet and is in a neo-classical style to reflect the ambiance of a museum for classical sculpture. The theme is followed by five variations and a coda.
