With her own personal musical approach, Marietta Veulens explore the classical, the traditional, and the contemporary in Cuban music written for piano. Her compositions originate from an open-mindedness and musical freedom, combining elements of Europena Classical music, Afro-Cuban rhythmic traditions, element sof Jazz and contemporary music, minimalism and Cuban popular music, together giving rise to her own distinctive and creative language.
